Back to School in 2020 needed some sweetening up!
The dogs of All Paws Retreat are headed back to school for 2020! With everything that has happened this year, I wanted to sweeten things up.
What better way to start your school year than donuts!?

All Paws Retreat is a Daycare and Boarding facility in Franklinton, Ohio. I started working with them last year doing Back to School Portraits of their pups. The photos were a hit.
Casie, the owner, has allowed me to spread my creative wings with her pups and after a few more sessions, we decided in January to sit down and plan our calendar of the year of sessions. We painstakingly planned out every date and theme.
Little did we know what the next couple of months would hold.
Two days prior to the Stay at Home order, Casie and her fiancé and I even had gone out and done their engagement photos.
So here we 2 months later and working with face masks, and gloves, and hand sanitizer everywhere. Our hands are dry and flaking from soap and alcohol, but we are back to work on a limited capacity.
I stepped into the daycare full of anxiety but loaded with pink backdrop and flowers galore.
We wanted to do SOMETHING special to honor the Moms in the lives of the dogs, and what better than pretty pink flowery and bow tie laden doggie?
I adored this session so much. It turned out dainty, and sweet and beautiful.
In a not so distant past, I used to be a gamer I played an MMORPG and made a lot of long time friends, many of them I have met while traveling our great country. This weekend was a first for me; two of my gaming friends, came to visit ME! Seth, Noelle, their son Malachi, and yellow lab, Booker made the trip from Virginia to have family photos done.
How cool is that?
We had a grand time, visiting the Wright Patterson Airforce Base – Museum of the USAF, dinner at Schmidts Sausage Haus in German Village, as well as taking these avid readers to The Book Loft, where we almost stayed too long at and almost were too late to have dinner!
Thier last morning in Columbus, we drove to Scioto Audubon Metro park for their family photos. It was a gorgeous morning with yellow light filtering through the tall grasses.
